Taking a holiday in a foreign country can often mean dealing with some aspect of the unknown. Simple things we take for granted, such as understanding how the public transport system works, finding the food we want or even communicating at a basic level can be difficult, especially if we don't speak the language.
Although no one expects a tourist to be fluent, learning a few key words or phrases before you go can make the world of difference to your trip. The example above is in Italian, but the language can be changed depending on your destination. Safe travels!
